You can delete your KnotWise account at any time directly from within the app. Deletion is permanent — cloud data cannot be restored afterwards, not even by our support team.
What gets deleted
- All cloud-synchronised logbook entries, passages and maintenance records
- All synchronised photos and documents
- Your account and profile data
- Any active subscription is cancelled immediately
Data stored locally on your device is not affected. Your logbook remains accessible on the device after account deletion — it simply will no longer sync.
How to delete your account
- Go to Settings → Account
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section
- Tap or click «Delete account»
- Enter your email address to confirm — the button remains disabled until the address matches exactly
- Tap or click «Delete account» to confirm — deletion begins immediately
You will receive a confirmation email at your account address once deletion is complete.
This action cannot be undone. Once confirmed, cloud data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered by our support team.
Alternative — request by email
If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request to support@knotwise.app from your account email address. We will process the request manually.
