The Share plan lets you share a live view of your logbook with friends, family or your home base — via a private link, no login required on their end.

What recipients see
Recipients access your shared logbook at share.knotwise.app and can view:
- Your current position, based on your most recent log entry
- Your passage route on the map
- Your logbook entries
The share page reflects your last recorded log entry — it is not a real-time GPS tracker. If no entry exists for the current passage, no position is displayed.
How to activate sharing
- Go to Settings → Sharing
- Under Public Passage Links, tap or click «+ Create new link»
- Enter a label (e.g. «Family» or «Crew») and confirm
- Copy the generated link and share it with anyone you choose
Privacy
The share link is private — only people with the link can access your logbook. You can create up to 5 links, each with its own label. Deactivate or delete any link at any time from Settings → Sharing — a deactivated link returns a 404 immediately.
