KnotWise includes integrated maintenance tracking and inventory management — keeping your vessel in survey and your spares organised, alongside your logbook.
Maintenance
Navigate to Maintenance in the left sidebar.
- Create maintenance tasks with category, interval (by hours or date) and notes
- Mark tasks as completed — KnotWise records the date and engine hours automatically
- Overdue and upcoming tasks are flagged with a badge in the sidebar
- Export all completed tasks as a Maintenance Log PDF via the Export page
Inventory
Navigate to Inventory in the left sidebar.
- Log your onboard spares, equipment and provisions
- Track quantities and storage locations
- Items with low or zero stock are flagged for attention
Why this matters
A complete maintenance log is often required for insurance claims and can be presented to port authorities or surveyors. KnotWise keeps this documentation current and exportable at all times. Learn more about KnotWise at knotwise.app.
